When you add AI Personas to a group chat, you unlock Persona Coordination Settings – a set of customization tools that help AI Personas understand how to participate in your specific group conversation.

What are Persona Coordination Settings?

Persona Coordination is how you give AI Personas context about your group. These settings teach Personas:

• What kind of group this is – Is it just for you, or are they joining friends? Is it a professional team? A support circle?
• How they should participate – Jump in freely or wait their turn? Be brief or detailed?
• How to interact – Should they talk to each other or only respond to humans?
• What the vibe should be – Casual and playful? Deep and reflective? Focused and professional?

Why This Matters

These settings give Personas the information they need to fit naturally into your group's unique dynamic. All settings are optional. You only need to configure what helps Personas understand your group better.

Accessing Persona Coordination Settings

There are two ways to access these settings:

Method 1: From Your Group Chat Space

1. Open your group chat
2. Tap the “✨” in the bottom left corner of the screen, above the text box input

Method 2: From your Group Chat Space

1. Open your group chat
2. Tap the group name or the three dots (•••) in the upper right corner
3. Select "Persona Interactions" from the drop down menu

Method 3: From the Group Details Pages

1. Open your group chat
2. Tap the three dots (•••) in the upper right corner
3. Select "Group Details" from the drop down menu
4. Now on the details page, select (Settings)
5. Then, “Persona Coordination”

Now you’re ready to customize your Persona Settings.

⚠️ Important: Remember to Save Your Changes

After making any adjustments to Persona Settings, you must tap the "Save" button in the upper right corner. If you exit without saving, your changes will be lost.
